Get out of your bed

There are days that you might not want to get out of your bed. It’s the weather? It’s your mood? Low energy levels? Many things might occur.

So, what do you choose? Most probably rest. Rest and self care. Self care might take many forms, from a nice and healthy breakfast, to a warm coffee, to a pumping song, or classical music (try Mozart), to a nice outfit and some perfume and … maybe to some natural beauty to appreciate.

Sensory triggers are all around us and they can be strategically employed to cause some comfort and some happiness. Pictures, smells, tastes, sounds, or even smooth and soft surfaces or clothes to touch and feel at ease.

They say that a picture equals to a thousand words. I would agree and add that a picture can trigger all five senses. The sun, the sky, the clouds… the fountain and a rainbow… the water….the coffee smell and a sweet pancake from a canteen nearby… and the sound of children, people and music, all wrapped into a happy choreography …

Maybe there are indeed treasures at the edge of a rainbow 🌈 serendipities hidden around…
