What if people don’t love us? What if people don’t love us in a way that makes sense to us and is healthy for us, mentally and physically…?
There are many perceptions of love, many points of view, lots of misconceptions and lots of assumptions, filtered by each person unique point of view.
The common denominator or, if you like, the source of love towards oneself starts from … ourselves.
Be your biggest fan. Love yourself as much as you love others, invest time as much as you invest to persuade other people that you love them. See yourself grow and bloom. Never underestimate the power of self love and self affection.
Instead of sending “I love you” messages to a person that does not pay attention or does not reply equally and surely towards you, send this “I love you” message to yourself. Better, write it on your mirror with a marker, a lipstick … and watch it every single day, mirroring yourself.
External love, the right one, will arrive.
Blessings: a warm coffee with cinnamon and chocolate, small buys that make my home beautiful, new sheets, decluttering and sending gifts to loved ones.
Serendipity: a bunch of new books 📚
Goodnight world. 🌙
